Welcome to THz-Innovations Pvt. Ltd., a pioneering startup specialising in Si-CMOS compatible Ge-based photonic Terahertz and ultrafast optoelectronic device technologies. Established in November 2023 and incubated at IIT Indore, we are recognised by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) as a startup company. We received the Startup India Seed Fund from the Government of India in April 2024. We are dedicated to advancing photonic Terahertz and precision optoelectronic technology through innovation and collaboration. At THz-Innovations, our mission is to revolutionise photonic terahertz technologies by developing germanium (Ge)-based THz devices compatible with 1 µm femtosecond laser platforms. Conventional photonic THz systems are predominantly based on GaAs and InGaAs materials, designed to operate with 800 nm Ti and 1550 nm erbium-fibre femtosecond lasers. As high-power ultrafast laser technology increasingly shifts towards 1 µm ytterbium-based laser platforms, there is a growing need for THz devices that can fully exploit their higher power, efficiency, and scalability. By pioneering Ge-based photonic THz technology, we aim to enable a new generation of high-performance, cost-effective THz systems for scientific research, industrial innovation, and future commercial applications.
